Breaking the silence on male suicide
Video created and edited by myself, to accompany an article I created on the stereotypes of men and how this contributes to mental health issues and increased suicide rates amongst the male population. Real story but played by drama students at London South Bank University.
How London is tackling air pollution
This is a piece I created in relation to a collaboration we did with a university in Canada, as part of a wider campaign on educating the public on climate change. I believe this highlights my ability to work as part of a team, but also that I was able to take information and create an individual project as well. I feel that this is a skill needed in the education system, as there will be times where it will be essential to work both individually and collectively.
Climate change live event
My contribution to 'Climate change live', which was a collaboration piece with Ryerson University in Toronto, was a speech on how London is tackling air pollution. I believe that this demonstrates my ability to speak confidently in public, which is a vital skill for any teacher. It also highlights the progress I have made in my confidence and signifies that I have gained a good base to begin my teaching journey.
Man charged for carrying a loaded crossbow
This is a court report produced for my third year media law module. I have included this to highlight my ability to speak unaided on recording. I believe I give a clear and coherent account of the case. I feel this is an asset that I will be able to take with me into a career in teaching.
